Harold Blackwell
May 15, 1949 ~ September 27, 2017

Harold Blackwell was born on May 15, 1949, in Rockford, AL, and departed this life on September 27, 2017, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 68.

Harold, the son of Louis Blackwell and Myrtie Lou Edmonds, was a resident of Prague. He married Diana Rains on October 31, 1975 in Lincoln County. Harold was employed at Morgan Well Service for over 20 years and later retired from Lincoln County after 27 years of service. 

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Bruce.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Diana Blackwell, of Prague; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sarah Carter, of Stroud; daughter and son-in-law, Misty and David Moore, of Prague; sister and brothers-in-law, Peggy Sue and Russell Goodman of Prague and Bill Bruce of Prague; grandchildren, Tyler and Brendi Larue, of Prague, Noah Baker of Paden, Chance Carter and Hallie Carter, of Nebraska, Brittney Moore and Dylan Moore, of Seminole and many other family and friends.

The Blackwell family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Duncan Blackwell officiating.
