Kirkland Lee Blackbear, 42 year old resident of Kingfisher, OK, passed from this life on September 1, 2018. He was born to Clarence Blackbear and Lanette Coffey in Waynoka, OK on February 28, 1976. He attained his GED and was a Construction Contractor . On July 15, 2009, Kirkland married Tiffany Nichols in Concho, OK. He had four children, Trea Blackbear, Jayln James, Arian Nicole, and Kirkland Lee II "KJ."

Kirkland enjoyed drawing, his friends always considered him to be an artist. He took particular joy in going to the park with his children and breathing in the fresh air. Most of all though, Kirkland loved spending time with his family.

Preceding Kirkland in death are his great-great grandpa Jay Black; great grandpa James Blackbear; great grandpa Jim Medicine Elk; grandma Lydia Medicine Elk-Coffey; and grandparents Henry and Bessie Tasso.

Surviving Kirkland are his wife Tiffany Blackbear of Kingfisher; son Trea Blackbear of California; son Jayln James Blackbear of Eureka Springs; daughter Ariana Nicole Blackbear of Eureka Springs, AR; and son Kirkland Lee Blackbear "KJ" II of Kingfisher; grandson Michael Blackbear; granddaughter Addi Warner and one more grandchild on the way; mother Lanette Coffey and companion Parry "Pops" Brooks of Watonga, OK; sister Judy Hollan of Weatherford, OK; father Clarence Blackbear; nephew Sonny Ray Allen Armstrong Mendez; nephew Leonard Paul Hollan; Theresa Brown, Cat Brown; and many other relatives and friends.

A traditional Cheyenne/Arapaho wake will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Concho Community Hall (200 Wolf Robe Cir, El Reno, OK 73036)

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, Sept 26, 2018 also at the Concho Community Hall (200, Wolf Robe Cir, El Reno, OK 73036).
