Theresa Adrian (Cash) Black
August 16, 1924 - March 6, 2022

Theresa Black, 97 year old Woodward resident, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 in Woodward, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2022 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jason Dirks officiating.

Theresa Adrian (Cash) Black was born August 16, 1924 to Pleasant Wilburn and Mabel (Mendenhall) Cash in Dalhart, Texas. Theresa grew up in Dalhart and attended Dalhart schools.

Theresa was united into marriage to Cecil Roach on March 9, 1939 and to this union they had four children, Lavena, Cecil, Everett, Kathy, and Helen. She was preceded in death by Cecil in 1968. She resided in Alva, Oklahoma and Waynoka, Oklahoma before settling in Woodward, Oklahoma. She was united into marriage to Frank Black on April 30, 1979.

Theresa enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and watching sports. She spent most of her time watching the grand-kids play sports and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. Theresa will forever be remembered as 39 years old.

She is survived by her son, Cecil Roach and wife Oleta; son, Everett Roach; daughter, Kathy Hoskins; 29 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 32 great-great grandchildren; many friends and other relatives,

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Cecil Roach, husband Frank Black, daughters, Lavena Joyce Roach and Helen Day, son-in-laws, Don Max Howard and Larry Day, daughter-in-law, Donna Roach and grandson, Darrin Roach.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
