Jennifer Evelyn (Kinney) Black, 72, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025.
Jennifer was born in Los Angeles, California, and her life was full of creativity, adventure, and unwavering love for her family and furry friends. She grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, attending NorthEast High. After dental school, Jennifer dedicated many years to her work as a dental assistant in both Florida and Colorado, where her gentle touch and warm presence brought comfort to countless patients.
An avid outdoors enthusiast, Jennifer truly embraced life. She loved nothing more than boating, taking long walks in the mountains with her beloved husband Greg and their dog Zoey, and even riding motorcycles. Her adventurous spirit deeply connected her to the beauty of Colorado. Jennifer also had a true passion for sewing and quilting, creating beautiful pieces that her loved ones will forever cherish. And of course, she held a special place in her heart for animals, especially her cherished family pets, some of whom have undoubtedly crossed the rainbow bridge. Jennifer deeply loved her life in Colorado, and her wish was to have her ashes scattered in the majestic Colorado Mountains.
She joins her parents, Evelyn (Magon) Kinney of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and William Everett Kinney of Canon City, Colorado, who preceded her in death.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Greg Black of Littleton, Colorado, and his family. She also leaves behind her sisters, Cathy Kinney and family of Riverside, California; Lory Griffin and family of Charlotte, North Carolina; Sherry Baer and family of St. Augustine Beach, Florida; Nancy & Tom Cherry and family of Saugus, Massachusetts; and Sally & John Reed and family of Red Bluff, California. She will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew her, especially all her family and friends in both Florida and Colorado.May she rest in peace.
