April 30, 1991 ~ May 8, 2021 (age 30)

Danton Wesley Reed Doyle Black was born April 30, 1991 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Samual Lee Black and Ratheda Faye (Matthews) Gillis. He passed away May 8, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 30.

Danton grew up in the Oklahoma City Metro and was a trained electrician. He loved his family and friends dearly. Danton loved music and was often quoting lyrics.

Danton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Judy, Johnny, Gordon, Ginny (Doris); cousins, David Lee, Russ, and Tabitha; aunts, Sherri and Joy; and uncle Wesley.

Danton is survived by parents, Ratheda and Sam; step-mother, Nancy; sisters, Tessa and Rhiannon; brothers, Shane, Brad, and Sam T; grandmothers, Diana, Mel, and Virginia; nephews, Braden, Anthony, Kaden, and Liam; niece, Aria; aunts, Kathy, Charlene, Michelle, Molly, Krystal, and Teresa; best friend, Zac; and dog, Captain; along with many other family members and friends.

No services have been announced at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
