Services for Brenda, 55, will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in the New Hope United Methodist Church, with Reverend Nathan Oney officiating.

 Services for Brenda Lee (Markes) Black, 55, Enid resident, will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in the New Hope United Methodist Church with Reverend Nathan Oney officiating. Services are under the direction of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Brenda was born on March 23, 1966 in Enid, the daughter of Jimmie Black and Bonnie Lucille Kinney Black, and passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her residence. She attended Chisholm schools. She was a member of the Thunderbird Twirling Academy. She married Brian Markes in September of 1983, they later divorced. From an early age Brenda loved to talk was awarded the cb handle Chatterbox. She didn’t know a stranger and would talk to just about anyone.

In her Teenage years you couldn’t keep her away from the local skating rink were she perfected the perfect backwards skate and cartwheel. She had a passion for music and attended Oklahoma Chorus Camp every summer. Brenda loved cars and worked in the male driven industry of Auto Body for 15 years prior to her illness.

Brenda is survived by her children; her daughter, Shannon Morgan and husband Andy of Enid,OK; her son, Nick Black and wife Ena of Kashiwa, Chiba, Japan. Her brother, Jay Black and wife Sara of Enid, OK; her sisters LuAnn Chouteau and husband Paul of Ark City, KS; Janet Spencer and husband Chad of Nowata, OK; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Last but not least her pride and joy her grandson Gunner Morgan.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Jim and Bonnie Black; grandparents Roy and Viola Kinney; and Benjamin and Lula Huffman; Best friend Elizabeth Granny Liz Tackett.
