Eunice Barnett Bittle

Feb. 14, 1915 ~ Sept. 11, 2006

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 10:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for Eunice Barnett Bittle, 91, who passed away September 11, 2006. Pastor Gene Archer will officiate.

Mrs. Bittle was born on February 14, 1915, in Konowa, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County since 1941.

She was a longtime waitress as the Old Lucky Spot Tavern.

Mrs. Bittle was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Bittle, her daughter, Bunny, son, Jimmy Browder and granddaughters, Susan and Ashley.

She is survived by sons, Tommy Williams of Riverside and Johnny Barnett of Bakersfield; daughters, Emma Lee Eaton of Florida and Penny Lightfoot of Long Beach; granddaughters, Deanna, Angela, Pam, Karla, Debbie and Vickie; grandsons, Jimmy, Tim, Chris, Tommy and Josh; numerous great grandchildren and relatives and a host of dear friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Eunice's name may be made to the Houchin Blood Bank.

No visitation is scheduled.
