Alice Lottie (Pittman) Bishop
March 18, 1936 ~ November 5, 2025

Alice Lottie Bishop, age 89, of Enos, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at her home. She was born on March 18, 1936, in Lark, Oklahoma, to the late George Henry Pittman and Ida Faye Smith Pittman. Alice was raised in Lark and spent most of her life in the Kingston area. Over the years, she worked at the Madill Pants Factory, Texoma Peanut Company and the Buncombe Creek Café. On August 27, 1955, Alice married James “Shy” Gerald Bishop, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. They shared many wonderful years together before his passing on April 10, 2022.

Alice is survived by:

Son: Larry Bishop and wife Gina of Enos, Oklahoma

Daughter: Deborah Sandefur and husband Tommy of Lebanon, Oklahoma

Grandchildren: Josh Jones, Tonya Bishop, Derek Bishop, and Erika Weatherbee

7 Great-grandchildren 1 Great-great grandchild

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Robert, Buddy, Silas, and Thomas; and two sisters, Julie Walker and Mary Jo Kaney.

Alice was affiliated with the Baptist faith. She loved working in her yard and garden and especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren.
