Kelli Lynn (Evans) Birch

Kelli Lynn (Evans) Birch
March 31, 1965 ~ February 24, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kelli Birch, a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, cousin, friend and confidante, who left this world on February 24, 2025, at the age of 59 at her home in Spring Hill, Florida. Kelli was a woman of extraordinary depth, whose love knew no bounds and whose compassion touched countless lives.

Kelli was born on March 31, 1965, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to John R. and Freda (Cummins) Evans. She grew up here and graduated from Bartlesville High School with the Class of 1983. Following graduation she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is where she met and married Stewart M. Moss in 1986. To this union her two children, Taylor Meredith and Chance Michael Moss, were born. The family moved to Clearwater, Florida, in 1996.

In February 2016 she married Patrick M. Birch. This union gave her a bonus daughter, Katie Birch Taylor.

Kelli loved deeply and unconditionally, often caring for others even when they didn’t deserve it. Her heart was a sanctuary for those in need, and she gave of herself tirelessly, expecting nothing in return. She was a pillar of strength, fiercely honest, unapologetically opinionated, and unwavering in her convictions. Her firmness was matched only by her boundless kindness, and she had a unique ability to make everyone around her feel seen and valued.

A true lover of life, Kelli found joy in the simple pleasures. She adored the beach, where she could feel the warmth of the sun on her skin and listen to the soothing rhythm of the waves. Swimming brought her peace, and she cherished the beauty of nature, especially the graceful dance of birds in the sky. She loved tending to her flowers, reading, painting and crafting. These moments of serenity reflected the calm and beauty she brought to the lives of those who knew her.

Kelli’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and authenticity. She taught us the power of caring deeply, standing firm in our beliefs, and finding joy in the world around us. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Pat Birch; daughters, Taylor Moss of Tampa, Florida, Katie Birch Taylor of Moneta, Virginia; and son, Chance Moss, also of Tampa; mother, Freda Evans of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; brother, John Evans and sister-in-law, Jamie McKee-Evans of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her uncle and aunt, Darrell and Barbara Lunsford of Bartlesville; and aunts, Mary Selby of Grove, Oklahoma, and Jo Ann (AJ) Boyer of Bartlesville; cousins, Kimberly Lunsford, Jason Selby, Lorna Jaggers, David Boyer, and Charles Boyer, all of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and John Boyer, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her father, John R. Evans Sr.; uncles, Larry Selby and Bob Boyer.

Rest in peace, Kelli. Your light will forever shine in our hearts. Until we meet again.
