Bobby “The Pie Man” Binion passed peacefully from this life on March15, 2022, at his home in Durant, Oklahoma. He was born in Bonham, Texas, on January 19, 1952, to Euwell and Ora (Walker) Binion. He married his wife Judy on May 10, 2005, in Denison, Texas.
Bobby was a long-haul truck driver most of his life and was employed with the City of Denison for 31 years, he was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma, he was a 3-year member of the Elks Lodge in Sherman, Texas, and he was a member of the Wounded Warrior Charge. Bobby’s biggest passion was donating and baking pies for the Wounded Warriors and anyone else who wanted one.
Left behind to cherish Bobby’s memory is his wife of the home, Judy. He is also survived by 8 step-kids, 30 step grandchildren, and 31 step great grandchildren, and one brother-in-law, Bob Nelson of Durant, Oklahoma.
Preceding Bobby in death are his parents Euwell and Ora and his two sisters Brenda Nelson and Mary Binion both of Durant, Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held at the Westside Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma on March 19, 2022, at 2:00pm with Pastor Jesse West and Bro. Brent Smith officiating.
Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.
