Jackie Knight "Jack" Billey

Jackie Knight "Jack" Billey
August 31, 1959 ~ July 22, 2024

Jackie "Jack" Knight Billey, 64, resident of Paden, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2024 at home. Jack was born on August 31, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri to John and Leah (Fixico) Billey.

Jack was known for his good sense of humor. He loved cracking jokes and pulling pranks in a funny way. Jack was a comedian in his own right and he loved to make people laugh. On the serious side of him, he would help anyone if he could. That is the type of man he was. He enjoyed Paden Pirate basketball and baseball, fishing horseshoes and camping.

While living in Oklahoma, Jack worked as a laborer until he became a brick layer for more than 25 years. He enjoyed brick laying and always had stories about his co-workers or his boss, especially after moving to Missouri in 1990. In 2016 he moved back to Oklahoma due to diabetes and other health issues. He lived with his sister, Lena and he enjoyed being closer to both her and their brother, Marcus.

Jack was preceded in death by his son, Lucas Billey; his parents, John and Leah Billey; his older brothers, Johnny Billey and Glenn Billey; his uncle, Able Billey; his aunt, Ida (King) Micco; his great-aunt, Ollie Conner and his long-time companion, Bonnie Hendrix of Strafford, Missouri.

Those left to cherish his memory are his siter, Lena Deckard of Paden; his brother, Marcus Billey of Okmulgee; his nephew, Richard Miller of Paden; his niece, Amanda Toliver and her husband, Nathan, of Ozark, Missouri and seven great-nephews; 2 great-nieces and Deana Hendrix, of Strafford, Missouri, whom he called his daughter and a host of family and friends.
