TJ (Lumley) Bierd

T J (Lumley) Bierd
December 10, 1936 ~ October 7, 2017

TJ Bierd, 80, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born December 10, 1936 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Rufus and Bertha Lumley.

TJ was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist. She also owned and operated TJ's Kids Daycare for 25 years before retiring. 

TJ is preceded in death by her parents; and two sons Bryan and Chris Bierd who both passed away on September 21, 1982.

She is survived by her son, Jim and his wife Jamie Bierd; grandsons, Tom Bierd, Bryan Bierd Jr., Bobby Bierd and Cole Motes; granddaughters, Jennifer Bierd, Kristi Benavides (Bierd), Baley Bierd; four great grandsons; and two great granddaughters. 

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 2:00 pm, October 10, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee, Oklahoma.
