Robert Lynn "Bob" Bewley, 72, of Blanchard, died Saturday, September 16, 2017, at his home. The son of Lonnie E. Bewley and Vonia (Whorton) Bewley, he was born July 21, 1945 in Matthews, Missouri.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a custodian for Blanchard Schools and retired after 21 years of service. Bob loved music and enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He loved watching TV, keeping up with politics, and watching sports, especially baseball. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Reba Northern; a sister, Claudine; and six brothers, Ray, Gene, Cleet, Glen, Don, and Jerry.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Leslie Crooks and her husband, Justin; one son, Daniel Northern; three grandchildren, Alexis Kiger, Clark Crooks, and Riley Crooks, all of Blanchard; and many other relatives and friends.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.
