Patty (Pat) Ann Bessler, a longtime Ponca City resident, passed away December 25, 2019 in Ponca City with her family by her side. She was 66 years of age. She was born May 13, 1953 in Winfield, KS to Ralph and Charlotte Conway Smith.
Pat grew up in Kansas and she graduated from Winfield High School in 1971. She was married to Victor A. Bogner and to this union 4 children were born; Kelly Bogner, Tina Bogner, Phil Bogner and Kyle Bogner. Pat came to Ponca City in the early 1990’s and went to work for Dr. Vaidya serving for over 20 years. She met the love of her life David Bessler and they were married March 4, 2000 in Ponca City. Pat enjoyed camping with her husband, spending time with family, and reading mystery novels.
She is survived by her Husband; David of the home, 2 sons; Phil Bogner of Wichita, KS, Kyle Bogner and wife Heather of Ponca City 2 daughters; Kelly Bogner of Winfield, KS and Tina Haynie of Cumming, GA. 2 sisters; Linda Marshall and husband Steve of Andover, KS, Donna Booe of Wellington, KS, Mother in law; Janet Bessler of Laramie, WY 5 grandchildren; Brayden Bogner, Kaleb Bogner, Zachary Bogner, J.D. Haynie and Luke Haynie.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Parents; Ralph and Charlotte Smith, and father in law; Albert Bessler.
Pats wishes were to be cremated and Grace Memorial Chapel is in care of those arrangements. Condolences can be written in her name to www.gracememorialchapel.net
