Carolyn Jane Calico Berry, daughter of Loy and Carrie Bohannan Calico was born in Clifty Ark. on November 8, 1940 and passed from this life July 26, 2017 at Putnam, OK. at the age of 76.
Carolyn attended the Clear Creek, Ark. grade school and Huntsville, Ark. high school, graduating with the class of 1959. She was united in marriage to George Berry on September 16, 1959 in Huntsville and the newlyweds established a home in Taloga, OK. Their home was blessed with four daughters, Sherry, Cindy, Vickie and Georgi and one son, Jeff.
Time spent with her family and telling stories were special to Carolyn. She also enjoyed reading and attending garage sales. In 2000 she made her home in Putnam, OK. where she was a member of the Putnam First Christian Church and enjoyed being a part of the Putnam Senior Citizens Center.
Those cherishing her memory are her daughters, Vickie King and husband Stacy of Putnam, OK., Sherry Thompson and husband Fred of Yukon, OK., Cindy Farris of Weimar, TX. and Georgi Retter of Yukon, Ok. Eleven Grandchildren; Rikki Hire and husband Robert, Nikki Fortenberry and husband Jess, Cody Thomas, Evan Lee, Tanner Farris, Melissa White and husband Royce, Katie and Kollin Retter, Julie Boeckman and husband Dustin, Jeffery Berry and Kelby Reed. Nine great grandchildren; Deja, Jaden, Khloie, Cole, Khloe, Kaiser, Paisley, Dayson and Kainin and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loy and Carrie Calico and her son, Jeff Berry.
