Saul Martinez Bernal, III, age 14, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away December 4, 2018. Saul was born on March 28, 2004 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Melissa (West) Collins and Saul Bernal, Jr.
Saul attended Guthrie Junior High School and was in the eighth grade. He loved playing Fortnite all day and night. He also enjoyed basketball and football. Saul was a member of North Church's North Students program at the Guthrie YMCA.
Saul is survived by his mother Melissa Collins and step-father Jason of Guthrie; father Saul Bernal, Jr. of Guthrie; sister Selena Martinez West of Guthrie; grandparents George and Carmen Tarrant, Dean and Terry Collins, and Bertha Bernal all of Guthrie; aunts and uncles Amber and Josh Gotchall, Dawn Jackson, and Roseta and Troy Guther all of Guthrie. Saul also leaves behind his lifelong best friend, Jerry Wade of Guthrie, and also Jordon and Hector.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. at the Guthrie Junior High School Auditorium with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
