Bob Bergeron, 79 year old Woodward business owner, passed from this life on Friday, December 30, 2022 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, January 16, 2023 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
Robert Louis "Bob" Bergeron was born on June 6, 1943 in Abbeville, Louisiana; he was the son of Lelia Bergeron. Bob grew up in Abbeville and attended school there. While a junior in high school he enlisted in the United States Navy, and earned his high school diploma. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1964. He was united in marriage to Sandie, and they were blessed with three children, Shawna, Robbie, and David. Bob made his home in Woodward, where he owned and operated Palomino Auto and Key. Later in life he and Barbara Roberts spent over 20 years together.
Bob was usually at work, but on occasion when he wasn't working he enjoyed traveling, flying RC airplanes, working mind puzzles, and spending time with his family. He could also be found at the Moose Lodge volunteering or spending time with friends.
He is survived by one daughter, Shawna Bergeron and Felix Tapia; two sons, Robert (Robbie) Bergeron and wife Shannon, David Bergeron and Shawna Stewart; four grandchildren, Heather Sallee; Alisha Cornejo and husband Casey; Daylon Bergeron and wife Lacie; Jaylee Bergeron; 5 great-grandchildren, Pryceton Sallee; Carson Cornejo; Connor Cornejo; Beckett Cornejo; and Layton Bergeron; one brother, John Lormond; a twin sister, Barbara Thomas; other relatives and many friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his mom, Leila and his life partner Barbara Roberts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the charity of your choice.
