Monica Lanoe Bennett, 55-year-old Vinita resident, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was born on February 15, 1969, in Claremore, her parents were Jim Mullinax and Augusta Geraldine Bennett-Lambert. Monica was a graduate of Vinita High School. She enjoyed drinking coffee, watching television documentaries on War and Spies throughout history, seeking out truths and wisdom, going out to eat, and most of all her grandchildren.

The family includes her two children, Josh Wiatrak of Miami, Ashley Lambert of Vinita, her brother, Jason Lambert of Vinita, grandchildren, Lucian Logan Lindsay Lambert, Sadie Lynn Wiatrak, Joshua William Wiatrak, and Isla Caroline Raine Wiatrak.

Services are pending and will be announced later by the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Services of Vinita.
