Austin Lee Bennett was born August 27th, 1999 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Garry Bennett and Anna Fondren-Roberts. He departed this earth on November 4th, 2020 at the age of 21.
Austin was raised in Okeene, Oklahoma until January 2009 where he moved with his mother and stepfather Ross Roberts to Watonga, Oklahoma. He graduated from Watonga High School in 2018. After graduation, he worked at Karl’s Apple Market, Dollar General, and Loves Travel Stop.
Austin went by many names. He was called Awesome Austin, Aussie, Blue and the Blue Beast. Though no matter what people knew him by Austin still had a heart of gold. He never knew a stranger and was always ready for a hug or a fist bump. He enjoyed spreading laughter and would always be one of the first to show up in time of need.
Austin loved drawing, writing stories, camping, traveling, playing games, and most importantly spending time with many friends, family, and his cats. He strived everyday to promote peace and happiness.
He was proceeded in death by his grandfathers, Leslie Fondren and Doyle Lasiter, his grandparents Peppy and Karen Wenglarz and his Uncle Albert Bennett.
Austin is survived by Ross and Anna Roberts of Fay Oklahoma, Garry Bennett of Okeene, Oklahoma, Crystal Bennett of Oolagah, Oklahoma, Grandmother Paulette Lasiter of Fay, Oklahoma, Grandparents Garry and Sharon Bennett of Okeene, Oklahoma. His siblings: Robert and Alysse Freeman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kayla Bennett of Watonga, Oklahoma, Derrick Bennett and Joshua Roberts both of Fay, Oklahoma, Tori Bennett of Okeene, Oklahoma, Samantha Roberts of Oolagah, Oklahoma, and David Roberts of Caney, Kansas. Six niece and nephews and nephews: Autumn, Amber, Jen, Maliah, Kirie, and Casey, along with lost of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Funeral Service was held Nov. 14th at the Oasis Church in Watonga, Oklahoma.
