Mary Eunice Bellinger, passed away on April 16, 2017 in Mesa, AZ. Mary was born January 2, 1932 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Stonewall and Anna Belle Sanford.
She was active in many sports and was the captain of her basketball team in Grove, OK, a lifeguard and a member of the Phillips Petroleum Water Ballet Team in Bartlesville. While working at Phillips, she met and married her lifelong husband of 53 years, Robert "Bob" Bellinger.
Mary and Bob retired and moved to Mesa, AZ. Together they spent some of their best years travelling together across the country in their RV. They enjoyed seeing America's scenic wonders and visiting family while making many new friends along the way. In addition to their long trips, they also enjoyed camping with the fellow members of many RV clubs including Dean's RV Club in Tulsa, OK, the Razorback RV club in Fayetteville, AR and the Leisure World Rovers in Mesa, AZ. Mary also enjoyed dining out and befriended many in the Mesa area. Enjoying and sharing the beauty of flowers, she was a member of the Bartlesville Garden Club for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; sisters, Lora DeWitt and Joan Coale.
She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Davis; sons, Frank, Bruce, James and John; seven grandchildren and two step-grandsons.
A visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10am-noon at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona 85207.
A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation.
