Deborah Deigh (Stricklin) Beller

Debbie Beller, age 63 of Wanette, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at the Norman Regional Hospital.

Deborah Deigh Stricklin was born April 28, 1955 in Norman, OK, 1of 4 daughters born to Larry Stricklin and Connie (Witt) Stricklin. She was raised in Norman and attended school there, graduating in 1973.

Debbie married young and moved to Texas. To this union, two children, a son, Hardie and a daughter, Crystal were born. She later returned to Oklahoma, settling in Shawnee. It was here that she reconnected with her first love, Ricky Beller. They were married December 5, 1980 in Burlingame, Kansas. Ricky and Debbie welcomed three more children, son, Larry, and daughters, Heather and Orlena. They made their home in Kansas for a time, but returned to Oklahoma, settling in Wayne.  

Debbie dedicated her life in caring for others. For more than 35 years, she worked as a Certified Nurses Aid in area nursing homes and hospitals. She loved her job, and most of all loved her patients and their families. For the last 7 years, Ricki and Debbie have lived in Wanette. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who always put the needs of others before her own. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by:
          Her parents,        Larry and Connie Stricklin and
          Two sisters,         Terrie and Cindy Stricklin.

Debbie is survived by:
          Her husband,      Ricky Beller of the home;
          Her children,      Heather Beller of Norman,
                   Orlena Anglemyer and husband Scottie of Little, Axe and
                   Crystal Welch of Topeka, KS, Hardie Welch and wife Jenny of
                   Topeka, KS and Larry Beller and wife Marilyn of Paoli, OK;
          Sister,         Jennifer Stricklin of Hawaii;
          25 Grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other
family and friends.
