Scott Bruce Bell, 55, of Blanchard, died Friday, January 10, 2014 in Blanchard. The son of Howard Lloyd and Carol Marie (Pyka) Bell, he was born July 1, 1958 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He worked for many years in the construction industry. Scott enjoyed being outdoors, working with his livestock, and having cookouts and bonfires. He loved music, playing the guitar, and Halloween was his favorite holiday. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends. He deeply loved his grandchildren and enjoyed teaching them about cows and horses.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Bell.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Shawna Jakubiszyn and her husband, Chris, of Medicine Park; Jamie Cleveland of Blanchard, who he treated like his daughter; four grandchildren, Daja Bell of Blanchard, Hunter Reeves, Lorian Hulse, and Chloe Hulse, all of Medicine Park; his mother, Carol Bell of Blanchard; three brothers, Marc Bell of Blanchard, Lloyd Bell and his wife, Karen, of Bridge Creek, and Fred Bell and his wife, Debbie, of El Cajon, California; two sisters, Diana Gomez and her husband, Les, of Blanchard and Lisa Turnpaugh and her husband, Kevin, of Blanchard; a host of friends and many other loved ones.
Viewing will be on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, January 14, 2014, from 8:00 AM to noon. Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January, 2014 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
