"Ceebo" Cheryl Ann Belcher, age 58, of Mangum, passed away early Friday morning, January 25, 2013, at Quarts Mountain Medical Center, in Mangum.
Mrs. Belcher was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on September 29, 1954, to Alton B. and Helen Marie (Smith) Belcher. After attending Marlow School, she worked at several different jobs until the late seventies, when she began her career in law enforcement. Working first with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department, she later worked for the United States Marshall Service, in both the investigative division and later in the air transport division. In 1997, Ceebo and her family moved to Mangum where she worked a short time for the Greer County Sheriff�s Department and Mangum Police Department, retiring in 1999, due to declining health. An animal lover, Ceebo, enjoyed car racing, football and spending time with her family. After her retirement, Ceebo spent time as a foster parent and grew to love the children whom were placed in her care.

Ceebo is survived by her partner of twenty-five years, Hayley Wood, of Mangum; two children, Shelby Rodriquez and Jennifer Martin, both of Mangum; two brothers, Dwayne Belcher of Texas and Greg Belcher and wife Lana of Marlow along with many other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Ceebo's wishes, her earthly body has been cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the Mangum Cowboy Church, with Pastor Darrell Coffman officiating. Cremation services and celebration of life services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum. At a later date, this summer, another celebration will be held to honor her wishes further.
