In 1997, Ceebo and her family moved to Mangum where she worked a short time for the Greer County Sheriffs Department and Mangum Police Department, retiring in 1999, due to declining health. An animal lover, Ceebo, enjoyed car racing, football and spending time with her family. After her retirement, Ceebo spent time as a foster parent and grew to love the children whom were placed in her care.

In keeping with Ceebo's wishes, her earthly body has been cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the Mangum Cowboy Church, with Pastor Darrell Coffman officiating. Cremation services and celebration of life services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum. At a later date, this summer, another celebration will be held to honor her wishes further.
