Joseph "Joe" Daniel "Danny" Beck~Shin, "Tenderfoot" was born February 23, 1966 to Doris [Rochell] Clayton in Duncan, Oklahoma. Joe was a Native American of the Chickasaw Nation. Our sweet Joe left his physical life to rejoin his spiritual Father on August 10th, 2005.
Joe's life was not an easy life. Those that knew and loved him knew of his daily struggles and stress that he had to endure. His trials on this physical plane were a source of growth for him and his loved ones. Joeís spirit was one of the kindest, most gentle, open souls we have ever had the privilege of knowing.
Have you ever known someone who seemed too good for ìthisî world? Joe was one of those people. He was easily taken for different - he was different; he was an earth-bound angel, and when our Father saw the emotional and physical pain was more than Joe could bear, he brought him home where ìthisî world could no longer hurt and judge him.
Those of us left here will always miss Joeís sweet face, but we find comfort in knowing that he is only a breath away and he will always be watching over us. We are proud that we learned love without restrictions and always the hope of tomorrow - Thank you Joe for sharing your gentle loving spirit and in your honor we will always remember this.
Joe leaves behind countless friends and family members. His only child is his precious daughter Brittiny Dawn Alexander-Beck, 13 years old of Chickasha; his younger sister, Shelley Flores (his very best friend) and her husband Samuel Flores of Southgate Addition; their two sons Cobrin, Diego. Shelley & Samuel are expecting a new son in December, Josius Daniel ìJoseph+God Danielî. He is also survived by his Mom & Dad, Dee (formerly of Duncan) & Jimmy (Mitchell) Clayton also of Southgate Addition; the Mitchells in the Chickasha area and the Rochells in the Duncan, Comanche & Waurika area, including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
A memorial wake will be held in celebration of Joeís life and rebirth with his Gracious Heavenly Father on Saturday - August 20th - 8:00 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge Ballroom on Highway 19 East. All family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances of Joe and/or his family are invited to attend. The ìDWî Band, including his Dad, Jimmy Clayton, of Chickasha will provide live music.
