James Edward "Jim" Beck

November 21, 1925 ~ March 8, 2007

Funeral service for James Edward "Jim" Beck, 81, of Rush Springs, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the Fairmont Cemetery, Follett, Texas.

James Edward "Jim" Beck was born November 21, 1925 in Follett, Texas the son of William H. and Cora [Gigger] Beck and died March 8, 2007 in Chickasha.

Jim moved to Chickasha in 1960 and worked for Transcon Freight Lines for 25 years.

He and Alberta Johnson were married May 31, 1949 in Darrouzett, Texas. They lived north of Rush Springs for over 20 years.

Jim was preceded in death by: Parents; three brothers, one sister and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors include: Wife: Alberta Beck of the home; one daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and George Manning of Ninnekah; one grandson and wife: Jonathan and Melissa Manning of Chickasha; one great-grandson and two great-granddaughters: Zackary Manning of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; Ashlyne Manning of Chickasha; Moira Manning of Chickasha; Several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Fairmont Cemetery, Follett, Texas under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
