Vernice (Brown) Beavers

Oct. 25, 1918 ~ Aug 24, 2006

Visitation for Vernice Beavers will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd., today, Thursday, August 31st, from 4-8 p.m.

The homecoming, celebrating the life of Vernice Beavers, 87, will be held on Friday, September 1, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary. Interment will follow immediately.

Vernice was born 1918 in Hannah, Oklahoma to Amos and Stella Brown, who preceded her in death.

She moved to Bakersfield in 1963, with husband, Abram Beavers who also preceded her in death.

Vernice leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, David Beavers of Bakersfield, CA; daughter, Sharon and husband, Oral Lewin of Sacramento, CA; 22 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, friends, and loved ones.
