A celebration of life gathering for Tony Beaver, 84, will be 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Circle of Life Event Center, with arrangement and cremation by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Tony was born October 2, 1937, in Paragould, Arkansas, to Augustus Jefferson and Mary (Carpenter) Beaver and passed away on Friday October 15, 2021, in Enid.
Tony entered the United States Army in 1956 and retired in August 1978. He was a motor pool sergeant and he was an Army recruiter in Enid for three years. In November 1963 Tony married Eileen Mahnen and they had two children. Tony was an avid Thunder and Sooner football and women's basketball fan. He loved to play baseball, basketball, bowling, and pool. He spent many hours watching westerns and the hallmark channel. Tony was extremely proud of his service time in the Army and was known for telling amazing Army stories. Tony lived life to the fullest, traveling and visiting friends but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family especially his kids and grandkids.
Tony is survived by his children Mary Lowman and Gary Annas, and Bruce Beaver and Alicia Hughes; grandchildren Tim Beaver and Tyler Beaver.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 brothers and 7 sisters.
