Billie Frances Beard, 84, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at her home in Morrison, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 9am to 8pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 10:00am at Dighton Marler Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 10:00am at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas.
Billie was born on January 12, 1936 in Ropesville, Texas to Henry and Naomi Wright. She graduated from Abernathy public schools. She worked for Safeway and Iowa Beef processing. Billie was a lifetime Red Hatter, was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She loved playing cards and spending time with her good friends Clara and Mary Lou. She loved her family more than anything and was always excited to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her son, Kerry Lewallen and wife Vicki of Morrison, Ok, her grandchildren, Amy Burch and husband Travis, and Caddo Lewallen and wife Christy, as well as her great grandchildren Cade, Chanley, Callie, Kaylee, Keyden and Kalie. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Dennis and Wyvonne Spray, Royce and Jonda Carter, Mike and Debbie Blair, Frances Jackson, Brenda Riggins, Linda Lancaster, Ray and Norma Wright, Steve and Janelle Rich, Juanita Rogers, Joy Allen, Jeff and Jennifer Shaap, Bill and Jerina Ryan, Teresa and Delwin Gregory, DeVonna Gregory, Darla Gregory, and sister in law Bonnie Gregory.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association c/o Dighton Marler Funeral Home, 5106 N. Washington St., Stillwater, Oklahoma 74075.
