Marilyn Crowley Beall, 84, passed away on July 27, 2010 in Oklahoma City. She was born in Des Moines Iowa on February 22nd, 1926 to Miles and Gertrude Crowley.
As a high school student during WWII, Marilyn worked in a munitions plant. Upon graduation, she went to Washington D.C. to work in the Pentagon where she met her husband, Army Sergeant Donald Beall. Marilyn and Donald married in 1948, living first in Arlington, Va. until moving to Oklahoma City in 1960.
Here, she raised two children and a niece and nephew. In 1989, Marilyn and Don moved to Belleview, Florida where they enjoyed a happy retirement. In addition to being a loving mother, wife, and friend, Marilyn volunteered in many organizations. She was a lifelong member of Catholic Daughters and worked tirelessly in St. Teresa's food pantry. She was also proud of her work as a volunteer security patrol at Smith Lake Shores in Florida.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Maureen, nephew Miles Wire, and niece Sherry Luther.
She is survived by her husband Don, son Stephen and wife Meda, daughter Kathy Leon and husband Al, 4 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel, Midwest City, OK.
