Joyce Beal, 88, of Mead, Oklahoma, passed away on February 21, 2024, in Denison, Texas. She was born on August 21, 1935, in Mead, Oklahoma, to the late Hershel Smith and Edna Winona (Davis) Smith.

Joyce was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord. She enjoyed shopping and collecting coins in her younger years. Joyce enjoyed dinner parties and spending time with her loved ones. Working in the title insurance business for more than 50 years, Joyce was a trailblazer and an inspiration for so many women who followed her. Joyce joined Stewart Title Guaranty Company in 1987, building and managing one of their most successful National Commercial Operations. She managed and closed some of the largest multi-site portfolio transactions in the company’s history and paved the way for so many others.
