Christie Thilsted Beadles, age 81, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, passed away peacefully July 26, 2021, in Wausau, Wisconsin, due to leptomeningeal disease stemming from metastatic lung cancer. She was born November 9, 1939, in Alva, Oklahoma, to Peter and Freda (Eckert) Thilsted and married the love of her life, Tony Glenn Beadles, in August of 1957.
Christie was a devoted wife and mother, with a heart of gold. As her family live out their lives, they will reflect on her beautiful and kind spirit.
Christie was the youngest of nine children and is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Christie is survived by her husband Tony; son Tony Allen; daughter Debbie and her husband Felix Moeker; grandchildren Kristin Stendahl, Eric Moeker, David Allen Beadles, and Michael Beadles; great grandchildren Anders Moeker, Ana Moeker, Oliver Moeker, and Mary Charlotte Stendhal.
Christie is also survived by many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends including Mary Marie Hamilton, Marilyn Koop Grammar, Stan Koop, Sharon Beadles and John Thilsted.
Christie's family invites her friends to attend the graveside services to be held at the Hardtner Cemetery in Hardtner, Kansas, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 10 a.m.
The family requests that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the First United Methodist Church of Alva in lieu of flowers.
