Roy Eldon Batterton

April 25, 1946 ~ November 18, 2013

Roy Eldon Batterton, the son of Roy F. and Katherine Della (Glover) Batterton, was born April 25, 1946, Lodi, California. He departed this life November 18, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 67.

Roy lived most of his life in California, working as a concrete finisher and moved to Stilwell in 2008 to retire. He loved to watch NASCAR and in the 70's he was involved in PROGAS drag racing. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family and friends.

Roy was preceded in death by his father, Roy F. Batterton and son, Ronald Batterton. He leaves behind a loving family which includes, his daughter, Lorrie Batterton, of Stilwell; his mother, Katherine Batterton, of Stilwell; two brothers, Terry Batterton, of Stilwell and Gary Batterton, of Reno, NV; two sisters, Sandy Ridling and husband, John, of Stilwell, and Patricia Hawkins, of Stilwell; one granddaughter, of Rachel Batterton and two grandsons, Jacob Pugh-Batterton and Benjamin Pugh-Batterton.
