Helen Blanch (Carsten) Barton

October 29, 1910 ~ February 6, 2008

Helen Blanch Carsten Barton, age 97, of Comanche, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008. She was born on October 29, 1910, in Mountain View, Oklahoma, to the late Arthur E. Carsten and Arletta Lesetta Brust.

She was married to Floyd Henry Barton at Clayton, New Mexico.

Mrs. Barton was a homemaker and rancher.

She had lived in the Comanche area since 1974.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 9, 2008, in Nowlin Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial followed in the Rock Church Cemetery, Tolar, Texas.

She is survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Henry Barton; daughter, Iris Fern Leary Townsend; brother, Edward Carsten and sister, Irene McKee.
