Cremation services for Thelma Imogene Barr, 89, of Pryor, have been entrusted to Stephens-Key Funeral Home.
No public event is planned at this time.
Thelma “Imogene” Barr, the heart and soul of her family, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 6, 2025 at age 89. She was the most kind and loving person to all that knew her. She was born January 19, 1936 to Roy and Loretta Teel in Bartlesville, Ok.
She graduated from high school in 1954.
She married Randall Barr and they had four children together.
She had a career in the oil and gas industry. She had worked at Mustang Fuel, Ribex Energy, Kerr McGee, and Devon Energy.
Imogene’s true passion was loving her family. She enjoyed getting to see her 6 grandkids as often as possible.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband and 3 of her children Jeanette Barr, Jeannine Colbert, and Martin Barr. She was also preceeded in death by her siblings Merrill Teel, Leila Baker, and Sharolyn Kneeland.
She is survived by her daughter Randi and husband John, son in law Richard Colbert, daughter in law Donna Barr and her grandchildren Matthew Colbert, Brandon Colbert, Brayden Barr, Colten Cooper, Taylor Barr, and Hannah Mickelson. She also is survived by great grandchildren Briley Colbert, Reed Colbert, Luke Barr, Logan Barr, Zayne Barr, Emma Barr, Karver Barr, and Caden Cooper.
She leaves behind a lasting example of unconditional love and support. She set the bar very high for what motherhood should be like. She will be greatly missed.
