Louie Devoin Barnett

June 23, 1930 - July 11, 2017

Louie Devoin Barnett, 87, of Barnsdall, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Claremore Veterans Center.
Louie was born June 23, 1930 in Bruno, Arkansas to parents Deavy and Bertha (Harris) Barnett. Louie married Bonnie Price April 7, 1952 in Bartlesville. Louie joined the Army and proudly served his country stationed in Korea.

Louie is survived by his daughter Bonnie Burden and husband Gary of Sperry; son Mikel D. Barnett of Oklahoma City; one sister Barbara Alsup of Bristow; four grandchildren Dana Ryan of Sperry, Shane Warren Ryan and wife Stefanie of Oolagah, Kara Whitchurch of Barnsdall and Gary Henson of Oklahoma City and three great grandchildren Madelyn Ryan, Brooklyn Ryan and Mia Whitchurch.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Community of Christ Church in Skiatook with Mr. Dave King officiating.
