Teresa Gayle (Taylor) Barnes, a Coalgate resident, was born on April 15, 1951, to Howard Clifton and Leola Mae (McCall) Taylor, at Duncan, OK. She passed away on May 5, 2023 at Tulsa, OK at the age of 72 years and 20 days.
Teresa graduated from Comanche High School. She was a homemaker and a housewife.
Teresa married Audley Preston Barnes Jr. on June 1, 1969 at Comanche Oklahoma.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Calvin, OK. Teresa was a member of Sisters on the Fly, a traveling RV group. She enjoyed crafting, camping, trail riding, and anything outdoors. Her favorite times were spent with her grandbabies.
