Lydia Marie Barnes
September 03, 1975 ~ July 17, 2020

Lydia Marie Barnes was born September 03, 1975. She departed this life July 17, 2020 at the age of 44 years, 10 months and 14 days.

Lydia attended Bristow Public Schools until transferring to Kellyville where she was a member of the 1994 graduating class. She had been a Bristow area resident most of her life.

Lydia worked tirelessly to provide for her two daughters. She trained in cosmetology and business administration, eventually working as an accountant and later owning and running a successful auto detail shop for many years. She enjoyed the simpler parts of life and loved gardening, sewing, feeding cows, and her wiener dogs. Most important to her was her girls, who she taught to be strong even when she couldn’t.

Lydia is survived by her two daughters, Launi Miller and Claudia Barnes; as well as, one brother, Dylan Brown; stepfather, Frank Dearman; two stepsisters, Debbie Williams and April Estep. She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Dearman. A private service will be held by the family.
