Glenda Marie (Postier) Barnes
July 25, 1934 ~ May 19, 2014

ENID, Okla. - Glenda Marie (Postier) Barnes, 79, of Broken Arrow, Okla., passed away peacefully on Monday, May 19, 2014.

Glenda was born at home on July 25, 1934, in Covington, Okla., to Glen Donald Postier and Velma Viona (Work) Postier.

She grew up in the Covington community, with many friends and extended family. She attended first through the 12th grade in Covington.

She resided in California from 1966 to 1992, when she returned to Oklahoma.

Glenda is survived by six children, James Romo-Barnes and wife Johnnie, Tulsa, Okla., Sondra Romo-Barnes/Garland, Joseph Romo-Barnes and wife Claudia and Janice Barnes, all of Riverside, Calif., Billie Barnes-Loyd and husband Alyn, Huntington Beach, Calif., and Julie Barnes-Danyew and husband Greg, Oceanside, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Postier; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Glenda was preceded by her parents and two siblings, James B. Postier and Joyce A. Postier-Phelps.
