Azel Marie Barnes

May 16, 1913 ~ Feb. 13, 2002

QUANAH - Azel Marie Barnes, 88, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, in Tomball.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Price-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clinton Young, minister of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park.

Mrs. Barnes was born May 16, 1913, in Caddo, Okla. She was a longtime resident of Quanah before moving to Tomball two years ago.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Barnes of Tomball and J.M. Barnes of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Betty Sue O'Neal of Hedley; a brother, E.G. Lytle Jr. of Quanah; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church.
