B. Carolene Ross Younger Barlow daughter of Wasker Rome and Willie Lee (Rutherford) Ross was born September 25, 1940 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and departed this life on April 29, 2013 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 7 months and 4 days.
Carol loved her animals and good food. She was a school bus driver for over 42 years. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; Wasker and Willie Ross, brothers: J.W., Jerry, Eugene, Darrell and Dale Ross, sisters: Zella Shipley and Willodene Cooper.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Jerry Barlow of the home in Watts, OK, 1 daughter; Dena Bateman and husband Joe of Watts, OK, 2 sons; Tim Younger and wife Brenda of Westville, OK, Randy Younger and wife Alicia of Eufaula, OK, 8 grandchildren; Jennifer Davis, Billy Joe Bateman and wife Katie, Chad Bateman and wife Megan, Alex Younger, Tiffany Younger and husband Jim, Eugene Younger and wife Weston, Kristen "George" Younger, Coleman Younger. 6 great grandchildren; Luke and Kenadi Bateman, Kynlen Bateman, Lexi, Kerra and River Davis, siblings; Sheridan Ross of Watts, OK, Madeline Sylvester of Tahlequah, OK, JoAnn Luper and husband George of Claremore, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Memorial services at 6 pm on Monday, May 6 2013 at Watts OK Public Schools Cafeteria.
