Phyllis Lorain (Knight) Barbettini

January 28, 1922 ~ April 26, 2019

Phyllis Lorain (Knight) Barbettini, 97, of Guthrie, OK passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 in Guthrie. She was born January 28, 1922 in Electra, TX to James M. and Mary Kathryn (Love) Knight.

She was a graduate of Texas State College for Women with a degree in Physical Education . She taught for 3 years before marrying Dutch Barbettini, also of Electra. They shared 63 wonderful years of marriage, a lot of it on the golf course.

Phyllis attended the First United Presbyterian Church in Guthrie.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James M. Knight.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Linda K. Perkins?? along with her grandchildren: Amanda K. Lawson and Mathew S. Perkins. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren: Jackson Lawson, Dylan Perkins, Samuel Perkins, and John Perkins.

Graveside services will be held in Electra, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Logan County Council on Aging, 1102 E. Warner Ave., Guthrie, OK 73044.
