Florence Beatrice "Willie" (Williamson) Banning
July 8, 1925 ~ February 17, 2022

Florence Beatrice Williamson (Willie) Banning born July 8th, 1925 in Horatio, Arkansas to parents Thomas and Vervan Kite Williamson. Willie passed away February 17th, 2022 at her home Pawnee, Oklahoma.

Willie graduated from Milburn High School. Worked in ship yards then went to and graduated from Hillcrest Memorial School of Nursing in 1948. She was on the swim team and basketball team. She loved sports; playing and watching, especially her sons activities and grandchildren. She loved fishing.

She moved to Pawnee after graduating Nursing School, she was a Registered Nurse and Director of Nurses at the Pawnee Municipal Hospital for over twenty years.

After moving to Pawnee, she met and married John Franklin Banning (Frank) June 7th, 1957, they had two sons Austin Lee Banning and Charles Thomas Banning. Willie best friend was Earlene Justus.

Surviving family members are son Charles (Charlie) Banning and wife Tina of Pawnee, Oklahoma, daughter-in-law Julie Banning of Perry, Oklahoma, grandson Randy Banning and wife Genna of Pawnee, Oklahoma, granddaughters Mary Waters of Perry, Oklahoma, Catherine Banning of Perry, Oklahoma, Amanda (Mandy) Pickering of Bethany, Oklahoma, great grandchildren Braxton Figueroa Colton Gaskey, Jesse Gaskey, Rowdy Gaskey & wife Micah, Gage Banning, Riley Banning, Trey Pickering, Tyson Pickering, Kiana Gray, Evan Waters, Alex Waters, great great grandchildren Mason, Braylee & Cavatica Gaskey.

Preceded in death by parents, Thomas & Vervan Williamson, son Austin, brother Alfred & wife Dorris, and her best friend Earlene Justus.
