Graveside services for Elice McCoy Banks, 68, of Channing were held Thursday, October 8, 1997 at the Channing Cemetery, Channing, Texas.
Rev. James Edwards of the Channing Methodist Church officiated. Burial was under the direction of the Hass Funeral Home.
Elice McCoy was born and raised near Allison, Texas.
She married LeRoy Banks in 1980.
She passed away October 7, 1997 in Amarillo, Texas.
Elice owned the Matador Cafe in Channing for many years.
She was a member of the Channing Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband LeRoy; two daughters, Donna Chamber of Boys Ranch; and Jackie Abernathy of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; three brothers C. E. McCoy, Jr., and Jimmy Dean McCoy of Reydon, Oklahoma; Loyd McCoy of Clinton, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
