William Otis Ballard

July 10, 1947 ~ January 26, 2015

William Otis Ballard, 67, of Meeker, died Monday, January 26, 2015, at St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital.

He was born July 10, 1947, in Prague, the son of Elmer and Betty Jean Armstrong Ballard.

He married Mary Campbell in 1965.

He worked as a truck driver for Gilbert and Sons before retiring.

He enjoyed country music and computer casino games.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Loretta; and a brother, Bobby.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ballard of the home; children, Billy Ballard of Meeker; Anthony Ballard and wife, Katura of Tecumseh; James Ballard of Meeker; Cindy Hogue of Meeker; Kathleen Ledbetter of Meeker; and Breanna and Katrina Ledbetter of the home; sister, Karen Small; brother, Alan Ballard; cousin, Debbie Joplin of Edmond; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 1, at the home of Anthony Ballard, 19910 Gordon Cooper Drive, Tecumseh.
