Linnie Jackson Ball

???? ~ Jan. 23, 2002 | Age 93

Linnie Jackson Ball, 93, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with David Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.

Mrs. Ball married Charlie Jackson on May 14, 1926. She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church. She married Albert Ball on Oct. 14, 1983.

She was preceded in death by her first husband on Aug. 15, 1976; and her second husband on Dec. 6, 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Jackson of Amarillo and Dr. Douglas Jackson of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Marie L'Roy and Lynn Cotgreave, both of Amarillo; a brother, Ben Flippo of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The family suggests memorials be to Beacon Baptist Church Building Fund or Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice.
