Elizabeth Catherine "Lisa" (Shelor) Baker-Smith

Elizabeth Catherine "Lisa" (Shelor) Baker-Smith
October 23, 1946 ~ April 23, 2023

Elizabeth "Lisa" Catherine (Shelor) Baker-Smith was born October 23, 1946, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Maxey and Theil (Henderson) Shelor. She graduated from Muskogee Central High School with the class of 1964 and attended Grace Episcopal Church.

Lisa was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and enjoyed a long career professionally in the banking industry. She was known for her green thumb, enjoyed playing tennis, and had a love for cats. Although Lisa was a fan of Barbra Streisand and Danielle Steel novels, she was a superfan of football, particularly the Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. Her children often joked that if she were to have had any other career, it would have been an NFL coach!

Lisa passed away peacefully at her home in Frisco, Texas on April 23, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Maxey and Theil, her brother Paul Stanley Shelor, and her beloved grandmother Myrtle "MiMi" Lovelace among others.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Bobby "Bob" Gene Smith, daughters Denise Bradley and Alesha Jordan, son, Jeff Bradley, son-in-law Daniel Jordan, daughter-in-law Stephanie Bradley, nieces Ashley Shelor-Flanary, Jennifer Shelor-Cooper, nephew Jason Shelor, grandchildren Jake Jordan, Kyler Bradley, and Rylan Bradley, numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as the families of her stepchildren Brett and David Smith.
