Sidney Lee Baker was born at Woodward, Oklahoma September 13, 1896 and departed this life July 4, 1948 at San Fernando, California.
At the age of 5 years he came with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Baker to Rankin, Oklahoma where he grew to manhood. He was well liked and respected by all who knew him. Leaving Rankin at the age of 18, he lived in New Mexico, Texas and California, living in California for a number of years. For the last four years of his life he was invalid, suffering with TB of the bone.
His father and mother, two sisters, Ollie and Cecil and one brother, Don preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his passing two sisters, Mrs. J. B. Purcell, Reydon, Oklahoma and Mrs. Ted Conrad of Lompoc, California.
Interment was made in Los Angeles, California.
