Lanea Pauline (Davis) Baker
October 15, 1937 ~ August 1, 2020

Lanea Pauline Baker was born on October 15, 1937 in Los Angeles, California to Paul Isham and Vivian (Vandever) Davis. She departed this life on Saturday, August 1, 2020 in Davenport, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

Lanea was a graduate of Excelsior High School in Norwalk, California. Lanea worked for Boeing for almost 20 years. She met and then married James D. Baker in June of 1978. In 2012, they made their home in Davenport, Oklahoma. Lanea loved to sew and cook. She also loved to travel with James visiting family however probably her most favorite thing to do was be with her family. Lanea never met a stranger, but if she did they didn’t stay that way long. She became Granny to anyone and everyone because of how she loved and took care of them. Lanea is preceded in death by her parents Vivian Davis, Frank Davis and Paul Isham and her brother Derril Tidwell.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years James Baker; children Janie Dillion and husband Rolan, Sheri Munkres, Tim Robinson and wife Jody, Randy Munkres and wife Kelli, Paula Snow and husband Steve, Carla Weber and husband Rocky and James Baker and wife Timmi; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; her brother Dave Davis and numerous family and friends who called her mom and Granny. As an expression of honor to Lanea, the family requests you plant something, either a flower or tree, in remembrance.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11:00 am at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma. Online condolences can be made at http://www.parksbrothers.net. Services provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
