Joyce Faye Owens-Baker passed from this life on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Joyce was born June 8, 1957 in Monroe, Louisiana to Sam Owens and Darlean Myles. She was a high school graduate.

Joyce was a proud mother of her children Stephanie, Virgil, and Monte. She enjoyed watching her children grow and go onto have families of their own. Joyce was proud to become a grandma, known as GiGi.

She spent her time caring for her plants, shopping, cooking, and more shopping. Joyce loved to spend time with her family and anything to do with her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Darlean Owens.

She is survived by her loving partner Raymond Burton of the home; daughter LaStephanie Tramble and husband Tyrone of Choctaw, OK; son Virgil Owens of Tecumseh, OK; son David Owens of Shawnee, OK; brother John Traylor of Ardmore, OK; brother Roosevelt Steward of Louisiana; sister Dawn Rankin of Missouri; sister Doris Miles of Ardmore, OK; sister Katherine Stubblefield of Bellwood, Illinois; sister Ruby Brown and husband David of Bellwood, Illinois; sister Debra Sanders of Dallas, Texas; sister Mary Owens of Shawnee, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
