Joan Cecelia (Twohig) Baker
May 10, 1955 ~ May 20, 2023

Joan C. Baker, of Tishomingo, OK, was born on May 10, 1955, in Omaha, NE to Loran F. and Lois Jean (Grothe) Twohig. She passed from this life on Sunday, May 20, 2023, at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, OK at 68 years of age.

Joan attended Metro Community College in Fremont, NE. She had worked as a store manager for Dollar General. She enjoyed working on crystal art, going fishing, swimming, and playing with her dog Jasper. More than anything else, Joan loved to spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Claude “Scott” Twohig.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Susan Cady and wife Angela of Marietta, OK and JoAnn Bair and husband Robert of Humphrey, NE; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; and sisters, Cathy Miller of Gretna, NE and Mary Thomas of Norfolk, NE.

Services are pending. Cremation is under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marietta.
